Unfair Trade

My thoughts become cluttered. Heaven’s windows seem shuttered. Some days I struggle to breathe.
Stress closes in, my patience wears thin, and the fog so thick I can’t see.
But all hope is not lost, when I consider the cost Christ paid to set my soul free.
My rags for a robe, and riches untold, my sins buried deep in the sea.
How could I despair, this trade is not fair, when it was I who belonged on that tree?
The guilt was all mine, but His Glory Divine, paid the full ransom for me!

Simple Obedience at the River Jordan

The leprous Naaman was commanded by Elisha to dip in the River Jordan 7 times to be healed. There were no special properties in the river that cured Naaman, it was simple obedience! 850 years later, John baptized Jesus in that same River Jordan. Again, no special properties to wash away sins in the water, it was simple obedience! Praise the Lord, the blood of Jesus forgives sin through baptism in His Name, when we simply obey!

There's Always Plenty at Father's House

When you come back to Daddy’s House, you’ll soon realize, there’s a few things money can’t buy that the Father had plenty of; Love, Grace, Mercy, and Forgiveness! Arise today dear prodigal from the muck and mire of your squandered past and let the Father meet you on your road to Restoration!

The Math of Forgiveness

When asked the number of times we should daily forgive our brother, Jesus answered 70 times 7. Even then, people wanted to keep score. But, the true measure of forgiveness? “Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.” How many offenses has God mercifully forgiven you for? It’s easy to calculate…How many offenses have YOU forgiven others for? If you do not forgive, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you. [Mark 11:26]

He'll Leave the Light on For You

Joshua 10:13 – In another place it says, “let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” Today, while the sun is yet shining, we MUST take vengeance upon the things that are standing between us and our walk with God? He’ll be there to support you, and just like Motel 6…”He’ll leave the light on for you!”
